Default Add passage scrolls to the scroll trader.

This is mainly for the UW/FoW scrolls as the Deep/Warren scrolls are easily obtainable from NPCs.

To avoid people wanting to trade these scrolls from having to sit through trade spam, I suggest adding them as items traded by the scroll trader or making a new trader NPC for them.

Apart from the time it takes for the trader to get from its starting price to over 1k, I don't see the scrolls ever being worth less than 1k for long because whenever its price dips below 1k it will become cheaper than using a statue meaning the demand for the scrolls will spike forcing the price back up.

Yeah, traders should buy and sell all scrolls.

Grey dyes should be too in the Dye trader list.

The deep, urgoz's warren are elite areas.

The underworld and fissure of woe are the realms of two gods. More then elite.

Besides, if people could buy those damn scrolls from trader npcs, HA activity could drop, and ectos would be plentiful.

EDIT: Mithran... grey dyes are available from any merchant. There's no need for them to be in the traders. Besides, it didnt used to be grey dye. It used to be a dye eraser item that wasn't a dye at all.

You get Factions scrolls from NPCs already.
Traders are good. They set minimum and maximum prices that prevent players scamming both by buying too low and b selling too high.

Traders are one of the best thing GW has.

I'm not telling they should remove the grey dye from merchant but that you could buy all the dyes you want to try mixes without having to walk around.

Adventurer's Insight scrolls are both in the Merchant and the Scroll trader.
Check it.

I'm saying UW and FOW scrolls should *never* be in traders because that would burst open the economy, and cause great changes in the pricing of MANY items.

If UW/FOW scrolls were in traders, they'd have to be atleast 10k to counterbalance this.

I'm also saying that UW/FOW scrolls, while nice, need to *stay* as a loot item *only*, and never go into trader npcs because that would break up influence on HoH.

At any one time there will be a range between the highest and lowest prices on successful transactions. All I see the trader doing is reducing that range, and letting people easily find out what that range actually is. So how exactly is this going to "burst open the economy" ?

The traders can have a minimum price set.

The scrolls are already tradeable now. All a trader would do to the HoH influence is accelerate how fast the influence is lost. So if you want the HA influence to remain then either the scrolls need to be untradeable, or removed from the game. When I made this thread to see how many HA players actually cared about winning favor, the replies gave me the impression that the vast majority of HA players don't actually care about favor when they are playing HA. Especially those in the international districts, who will happily play in a team that earns favor for regions other than their home region.

So since the HA players don't seem to care about it, and the FoW/UW players don't like it restricting them, why should the HA influence remain ?

If they sell for a minimum of 10k, then I don't care.
